Our Vision

The time is now.

I am running for the Milwaukee Board of School Directors because I am passionate about our community and ensuring that every child has access to an education which effectively prepares them for the next stage of their life.  As Milwaukee transplants, my wife and I are homeowners in Bay View because we believe this community is the best possible place to raise our family. Our one year old son has a few years before we enroll him in an MPS school, but I am committed to making a difference for our district and all Milwaukee children now.

As a former restaurant manager I hired and employed MPS students for over 4 years. Working side by side, I saw the day to day challenges put on kids who deserve much more than the school system is currently providing. Now, as a small business owner, I understand the short and long term economic impact of not making the investment now in our local talent of the future.  For me, serving in this role means being a part of transforming the future of Milwaukee for the better.

As your director, I will be a strong voice for the students and parents while advocating to provide teachers with the tools they need.  My business acumen and experience will ensure fiscal responsibility for all budget discussions and decisions.
